The 1st edition of BuildArch 2008 / Build Up 2008 is scheduled to be held from 21st to 24th Oct 2008. The exhibition will be jointly organised by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Deutsche Messe – Hannover Germany (DMAG) & Bangalore International Exhibition Center (BIEC).

BuildArch 2008 will be a comprehensive exhibition on Architecture, Building & Construction Technology, Materials, Interiors and systems and will have over 200+ participants from India and abroad. The exhibition will have country pavilions and participation from Germany, Austria, Belgium, Italy, Korea, Netherlands, and UAE. The exhibition will be a launch pad for products and technologies from this segment.

BuildUp 2008 will be a concurrent event focusing on Real Estate & Property development. Leading builders, property developers & financial institutions across India are taking part in this exhibition.

The exhibition is supported by the Ministry of Urban Development, Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation (Government of India) and many other associations / institution from the trade. A high level conference such as International Conference on Building of the Future: Architecture & Construction, Green Building and National Conclave on Real Estate will be highlights of the exhibition.


Mr J P Nayak, Member of the Board & President (Operations) Larsen & Toubro Ltd is Chairing BuildArch 2008 and Mr Irfan Razack, Chairman & Managing Director, Prestige Estate Projects Pvt. Ltd. is chairing Build Up 2008. Mr Jamshyd Godrej, Chairman, BIEC and Chairman & Managing Director, Godrej & Boyce Ltd is the overall Chairman of these events.
