V. Anbu is UFI’s President for 2020 - 21

At the UFI Congress, V. Anbu, Director General & CEO of Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA) and BIEC took over as the Incoming President of UFI for 2019 - 2020. Earlier this year the UFI board of directors had elected V. Anbu as its President for 2020-2021. The decision was taken at the board meeting, which marked the start of the annual UFI European Conference in Birmingham (UK).

Balasubramanian Elected IEIA President

Balasubramanian Pillai, Executive Director & COO, IMTMA & BIEC was elected as the President of IEIA at the 13th Annual General Meeting of IEIA held in Mumbai on 16th December 2019.

SAP TechEd

SAP TechEd 2019 at BIEC, Bengaluru from 13th to 15th November 2019 offered a continuous 360-degree approach to learning for participants. It offered hundreds of sessions with SAP experts on cutting-edge technologies and SAP solutions for developers, architects, and other professionals.

Water Expo

The largest premium annual water exhibition organized by Water Today at BIEC from 20th to 22nd November 2019 focused on how emerging technologies are transforming the water and waste water sector and how to scale up the adoption of clean water solutions.

The Smarter E India

The Smarter E India, the innovation hub for empowering new energy solutions featured riveting discussions between industry pioneers in the fields of solar, energy storage and electric mobility. Organized by Messe Muenchen at BIEC from 27th to 29th November 2019.

EXCON

The 10th edition of South Asia’s largest construction equipment exhibition in South Asia was organized by CII at BIEC from 10th to 14th December 2019. Delivering the inaugural address at EXCON 2019, Shri Nitin Gadkari, Minister for Road Transport & Highways, and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Govt. of India said, “The Construction Equipment industry can hope to expect a 40% increase in sales in the near future.”
