India’s Largest Columnless Exhibition Hall to Ignite Growth in Exhibitions

Continuing with its efforts of providing a world class exhibition facilities, a fourth exhibition hall measuring 17,500 sq.mts. was constructed by the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC). The exhibition hall which is India’s largest columnless exhibition hall is the latest addition to BIEC infrastructure and increases the overall gross space of exhibitions to 59,500 sq.mts. The new hall brings a plethora of benefits for exhibitors and visitors alike.
Solar Today Expo 2017 and LED India Expo 2017
Solar and LED industry is a fast growing market in India. The biggest event on solar power and LED technology in south India was held at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre from 6 to 8 April 2017.

The twin exhibitions served as a right platform for the solar and LED industry to showcase their products, technologies and services. The exhibition was supported by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India.
PackPlus South’17
South India’s largest packaging show, PackPlus South’17 concluded successfully on 10 April 2017 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre with a footfall of 7,523 visitors.

The show has been highly effective in catering solutions to various packaging, printing and supply chain segments. The four day show featured over 200 exhibitors, more than 100 live demos and gave visitors a hands-on experience and served as a launch pad for more than 50 products.

A conference addressing the important issues in printing and packaging industry was held concurrently.

Herbalife 2017 India Extravaganza
Herbalife Associates from all over India gathered at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) in Bengaluru to celebrate the Herbalife event. The event organized by Herbalife was held at BIEC from 9 to 11 June 2017 and was an opportunity to learn more from some of the most experienced and successful in business.

IMEX 2017
Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) participated at IMEX 2017 held in Frankfurt from 16 to 18 May 2017. The show attracted 4,943 visitors from 99 countries.

IMEX in Frankfurt is the landmark exhibition for professionals working within the incentive travel, meetings and events industry.

Participation in IMEX has enhanced BIEC’s image in the global exhibition world and opened a new set of opportunities for it to tap the European market.
Bangalore City Centre comes closer to BIEC
The opening of Asia’s biggest metro station in Majestic, Bengaluru is a historic milestone for the city’s residents. Kempegowda Metro Station will now be directly connected with Nagasandra which is around 2 kilometres away from the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre. Commuters will have an easier time travelling to BIEC for exhibitions.

The government will further extend the metro from Nagasandra to BIEC under phase II. Work on construction of an underpass for smoother vehicle outside BIEC is in progress. The roads are getting widened. Visitors to BIEC can avoid traffic congestions once the underpass is ready.
